The ongoing social media feud between controversial singer Portable and his colleague Davido has intensified, with Portable taking another shot at Davido following an Instagram unfollow.
The conflict began after Portable accused Davido of giving him bad advice during a recent dinner in the United States. Portable claimed that Davido, who is signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and instead suggested signing with Empire. Portable interpreted this as an attempt to hinder his own Grammy ambitions.
In response to Portable’s public accusations, Davido unfollowed him on Instagram. Portable reacted by asserting that he doesn’t need Davido’s support to succeed or to win a Grammy. He implied that Davido’s unfollowing was a result of Portable no longer being beneficial to him.
In a video message shared on his Instagram page, Portable stated, “They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them. Whether you help me or not, I will do my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will collect Grammy.”
